Venus Base Deployment

Floating bases and the robot spiders will be deployed to Venus using the reusable solar stage rocket. All Venus payload will have multi-wings on them to reduce the fuel requirement during descending to Venus. Dense atmosphere of the planet increases the lifting force counteracting the gravity. During the initial phase of the descent, solid boosters will be fired to slow down the payload. The used rockets will be released to reduce the weight. Once all the rockets are consumed, the drag induced by the wings will be enough to slow down the payload further. This will also increase the flight time and range, allowing more precise deployment.

Floating bases will only descent to 30-40 km above ground and will maintain a minimum speed at that elevation to keep the base airborne. Initially, I was thinking of job specific floating bases, then I thought transferring samples and fuel among bases would not be easy. Therefore, it’s best to have propellent generator and laboratory on every floating base. Each base will also carry a transporter on board which carries samples between the robotic spider and the base. This will make the bases larger and bigger, but self-sufficient.
