Sewage and Landfill Facilities are critical for a cleaner environment. However, disposing waste requires a lot of energy. I propose an integrated waste management facility for sewage and landfill disposal using small Nuclear Reactors. Nuclear reactors generate excessive heat which can be used to dry wastewater sludge and organic landfills. The water vapor, methane and other gasses produced during the drying process can be used to generate electricity to be used by the facility itself. In the condenser these gasses would be separated. Extracted methane gas can be injected into the existing natural gas pipeline, distilled water into the clean water pipeline. Dangerous gasses would be converted into less harmful byproducts using the electric generated. The drying process reduces the volume of the sludge and the organic landfills considerably. Therefore, minimizing the landfill area.
As a result, self-containing nuclear waste management facility would reduce the pollution of the organic waste on environment by extracting the useful and harmful parts from them for safer and economical disposal.
